Math--Period 1--Study your divisibility rules. Complete workbook page R 9-1. Remember when making an equivalent fraction by multiplying to multiply your numerator and denominator by 2. Keep it simple and easy! When making an equivalent fraction by dividing, first try to divide the denominator by the numerator. If that works, then divide both numbers in your fraction by the numerator. If that doesn't work, list the factors of your numerator, work backwards in your factor list, and find the largest factor that will divide into your denominator. Divide both numbers in your fraction by that factor.
Math--Period 2--Study your divisibility rules. Complete workbook pages P 9-1 and R 9-2. For workbook page R 9-2 do your work on lined paper. Remember when making an equivalent fraction by multiplying to multiply your numerator and denominator by 2. Keep it simple and easy!
