Math--Periods 1 and 2--This week we won't be having our regular Math or Reading classes due to our Ag Lab activities.  Therefore, we will not have any Math homework this week.
Science--Period 3--Remember notebook page 45 is due on Thursday.  Your project plan is due on or before Monday, May 14, and your final project is due on or before Monday, May 21.  Your "What is Matter Made Of?" paper is due tomorrow.  This is a graded assignment.  Also work on your Ag Lab journal entry one.  You should have between 7 and 10 sentences.
Science--Period 4--Remember notebook page 45 is due on Thursday.  Your project plan is due on or before Monday, May 14, and your final project is due on or before Monday, May 21.  Your "What is Matter Made Of?" paper is due tomorrow.  Do 1 to 8 only.  This will be a graded assignment.  Also work on your Ag Lab journal entry one.  You should have between 7 and 10 sentences.
Homeroom Reminders--Tomorrow we will have a quiz on VO prefixes, and on Thursday we will have a quiz on VO words to 1 to 15, prefixes, suffixes, and root words.  Study your VO every night.  Your signed progress report is due tomorrow.  If you do not return it, you will not have recess.  Tomorrow is Day 2--Music.

Homeroom Reminders--Midterm progress reports and communication envelopes were sent home today.  Sign and return your progress report to school by Tuesday.  Study your VO over the weekend.  We will have a prefixes quiz on Tuesday, and a quiz on words 1 to 15, prefixes, suffixes, and root words on Thursday.  On Monday it will be Day1--Phys. Ed.  Next week, students in grade 5 will be working in the Ag Lab every day for one class period!

We will meet on Thursday during recess to go over information related to Friday's field trip to Locust Lake. Yearbook order forms were distributed this morning. Orders are due by next Friday. Envirothon News--Our students who will be competing in the Envirothon on Friday, April 13 may stay after school on Thursday, April 12 until 5:00. Permission slips have been sent home for the Envirothon on April 13. Please return them to school after break. Team members don't forget to do some studying over break. Check out the links that we went over yesterday. See my homework helpline from Monday for the specific links. It has been great working with such enthusiastic students!
Homeroom Reminders--There is a menu change for Thursday, April 12. Regular will be chicken sticks, and the alternate choices will be a hot dog or a chicken wrap. When we return to school after break, it will be Day 4--Art.
