Period 1--No homework. We took our quiz today.
Period 2--We started our test today. We will finish it on Monday. Review your notes and Rivers worksheet if necessary.
Period 3--Your Mt. Shasta worksheet is due on Tuesday. There are a few students who did not return the last test with a parent signature. This is due on Monday.
Periods 4 and 5--A test is scheduled for next Friday. Start to study your notes, the landform diagram on notebook page 12, and the Real People of the Grand Canyon worksheet.
Period 6--No homework. We continued our Island project today.
Homeroom Reminders--Communication envelopes were sent home today. Return them to school ASAP. When we return to school on Monday, it will be Day 6--Art.

Looking Ahead to Next Week
PSSA writing tests will be administered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. Our schedule will be normal on Monday. On Monday it will be Day 2--Library. On Tuesday and Thursday, periods 1, 2, and 3 will be held in the afternoon. On Wednesday and Friday, periods 4, 5, and 6 will be held in the afternoon.
Period 1--No homework.
Period 2--Get postcard grade sheet and test signed.

Homeroom Reminders
Report cards and communication envelopes were sent home today. Sign and return the bottom of the report card. Return commication envelopes to school. Remember to hand in pictures or picture money.
PSSA Testing
Next week students in fifth grade will be taking PSSA tests. Tests will be given in the morning and afternoon on Tuesday, April 13; Wednesday, April 14; and Thursday, April 15. Students will not be switching classes on those test days. However, they will have their special classes. Monday will be Day 3--Book Exchange. We will follow our regular class schedule on Monday and Friday.
Class Reminders
Period 1--Your map project is due on Friday. Be sure to follow the checklist/grade sheet in order to earn as many points as possible.
Period 2--Get your postcard grade sheet signed. Finish Rivers and Controlling the Flow worksheet for Friday. Use your Landform book to help you.
