Math--Period 1--Study your place value chart.  Be able to name all of the places in order starting with the ones and ending with hundred billions.  Also be able to name the four periods from smallest to largest.  Complete the two worksheets you received today.  The first one is on expanded form.  The title is "Making Really Big Numbers Look Even Bigger."  The second one is on place value up to the ten milllions.  It is called "Place and Value."
Math--Period 2--Complete A to H of your Alligator worksheet in your notebook.  Follow example A.  Here's another example!  Example--E. 896,804.  The word form is eight hundred ninety-six thousand, eight hundred four. The expanded form is 800,000 + 90,000 + 6,000 + 800 + 4.
Science--Periods 3 and 4--Today in class we finished our scientific question activity and went over features of our textbook that we will encounter throughout the year. There is no homework.
Homeroom Reminders--Tomorrow is Day 2--Library class.
