Wow! A full day of school!
Math--Period 1--We have been practicing order of operations over the past several class periods. Students are at different places with this skill. Therefore, their homework may vary from student to student. The assignments students may be working on are worksheet 40 (Order of Operations), textbook page 77, and Order of Operations quiz. All students need to complete Review Sheet 23 and page 84 Set D. We did a sample for Set D on lined paper. If you received paperwork from Mr. Hall, return it to school signed ASAP.
Math--Period 2--Complete Mixed Practice # 7 problems 16 to 25. We want to award tickets for 90s and 100s! Do your BEST work! If you received paperwork from Mr. Hall, return it to school signed ASAP.
Science--Periods 3 and 4--Today in class, students wrapped up their notetaking for our key project on Gallapagos Island reptiles. They then moved into a key activity on whales which will prepare us for the keys we will make on our Gallapagos Island reptiles. Both classes did a GREAT job! Your reading activity sheets on Reptiles and Amphibians are due tomorrow.
Homeroom Reminders--Tomorrow is Day 1--Art class. Signed report card envelopes are due by Friday. Our Brain Show Mania program, Jeans for a Cause, and Mixer will all be on Friday. Students who did not miss any homework assignments in the month of January may bring in a drink, snack, and board game on Friday.
It was a great Wednesday!
