Math--Period 1--If you need to practice your multiplication facts, write them on the paper you received in class today. Complete worksheet PW 14 numbers 11 to 34.  For 11 to 26, complete your work on lined paper.  You may do 27 to 34 directly on the worksheet.
Math--Period 2--If you need to practice your multiplication facts, write them on the paper you received in class today.  We will continue working on rounding in class tomorrow.
Science--Periods 3 and 4--Get your test signed.
Homeroom Reminders--If you didn't return your conference confirmation paper, please return it to school ASAP.  Tomorrow is Crazy Hair Day for Red Ribbon Week and Day 1--Art class.  On Friday, we will have our October Positive Behavior reward in the morning.  Students participating may bring in a snack and a drink.  Our Halloween Party will be on Friday afternoon.  Students may bring their costumes to school.

Math--Period 1--If you need to practice your multiplication facts, write them on the paper you received in class today. Complete worksheets Q 2-1 and Q 2-2.
Math--Period 2--If you need to practice your multiplication facts, write them on the paper you received in class today.  Get your tests signed.  Do corrections for both of your tests.  For the multiple choice test, do your corrections on the test itself.  Do not erase the answers.  Write in the correct answer in the space next to the problem.  For the constructed response test, do your corrections on lined paper.
Science--Periods 3 and 4--There is no homework.  We took our Topic 1 test today.
Homeroom Reminders--Conference confirmation papers were stapled in assignment tablets yesterday. Please cut off the top of the paper and sign the bottom of the paper. Keep the bottom of the paper stapled in your child's assignment tablet. Tomorrow is Mustache Day for Red Ribbon Week and Day 5--Music class.

Science--Periods 3 and 4--Tomorrow we will have our test on Topic 1--The Nature of Science.  Study your study guide and the paper that reviews how to find mean, median, mode, and range.

Math--Period 1--Complete reteaching worksheet 2-2 and workbook page 7.  There are a few students who have not returned signed tests.  These must be signed on Monday.
Math--Period 2--We started our Topic 1 test today.  In your textbook, review lessons 1-1 to 1-6.  Read the examples and study the place value charts. 
Science--Periods 3 and 4--Complete textbook pages 40 and 42.  Study your Topic One study guide and textbook page 26 for our test on Tuesday.
Homeroom Reminders--Communication envelopes were sent home today with information on next week's Red Ribbon Week.  The theme days are as follows...
Monday--Wear Crazy Socks!
Tuesday--Wear Orange!
Wednesday--Wear your Mustaches and Mustache NS Spirit Shirts!
Thursday--Crazy Hair Day!
Friday--Wear Red NS Spirit Shirts!  On Friday we will also have a program with Bloomsburg University students.  Our Halloween party will be Friday afternoon starting at 1:30.
When we return to school on Monday, it will be Day 3--Phys. Ed.

Math--Period 1--Complete the 5 problems from worksheet Set C on the paper you received in class today. Remember to stack your numbers and then order them according to the directions.  Complete the two rounding decimal worksheets in your packet--"Rounding Decimals" and "Rounding to the Nearest Dollar."
Math--Period 2--If you need to practice multiplication facts, write them on the paper you received in class today.  Complete textbook pages 22 and 23.  Do your work in your notebook.  Complete your expanded form worksheet.  There are some students who need to get their tests signed. 
Science--Period 3--Complete the vocabulary section (1 to 12) of your study guide.  Use textbook pages 7 to 30 to help you.  We are planning to have our Topic 1 test on Tuesday.
Science--Period 4--Complete the vocabulary section (1 to 12) of your study guide. Use textbook pages 7 to 30 to help you. We are planning to have our Topic 1 test on Tuesday.  Complete D, E, and F of the mean, median, mode, and range worksheet.

Many students already completed their graphs, and they look great! Congratulations!

Complete worksheet number 29 numbers 2 to 29 to review comparing and ordering decimals. For 2 to 16, place the correct sign between the two numbers. For 17 to 20, stack and number your numbers on lined paper. Do your work for 21 to 28 on lined paper as well. For number 29, circle the correct answer.
Math--Period 2--If you need to practice multiplication facts, write them on the paper you received in class today. Complete all of worksheet PW 6. Complete 1 to 20 of worksheet PW 8. On PW 8 for 16 to 20, stack and number your numbers on lined paper.
Science--Period 3--In class today we practiced finding the mean, median, mode, and range for a set of numbers. Scientists sometimes do this as they organize their data. Your graph project is due on Thursday. If you plan to e-mail your graph to me, put your name in the title or axis boxes. Many students already completed their graphs, and they look great! Congratulations!
