Period 1--Study flashcards.
Periods 2, 3, and 4--The three station activities are due on Thursday at the beginning of class. You will have about 30 minutes of class time to work on them in class tomorrow.

Science

Periods 1, 2, 3, and 4--No homework. Today we reviewed the Oobleck Home/School Connection in all of our classes as we watched a segment from the Ellen show. In periods 2, 3, and 4 we continued our work with saturated solutions as we worked with citric acid and water solutions.

Social Studies

Period 1--Make study cards for the people, places, and vocabulary on page 138 of your textbook. Students received index cards in class today for this assignment. Parents sign and return tests tomorrow.
Periods 2, 3, and 4--One of the Columbus station activities must be completed by tomorrow. There are three activities that must be completed by Thursday. You may work ahead if you would like. If you haven't returned your signed test, bring it to class tomorrow.

1. Midterm progress reports came home today.
2. Please return your field trip forms ASAP.

Today periods 2, 3, and 4 started our citric acid solution lab. We will continue it tomorrow. Period 1 will start the salt solution lab tomorrow. Periods 3 and 4 started our Columbus station activities today. Have a great weekend!

We will be investigating saturated solutions in Science class. We will also be looking at "Oobleck" as students complete the Home/School Connection for extra credit. In Social Studies we will begin studying early exploration of North America.
