Math--Period 1--Complete the worksheet on subtracting mixed numbers.
Math--Period 2--Complete the worksheet on subtracting mixed numbers. Correct textbook page 261 numbers 9 to 13 and 19 to 21. Redo the entire problem if the problem number is highlighted in pink. Redo the problem on the new piece of lined paper you received in class today. Simplify the problem if a pink line is drawn next to your answer.
Science--Periods 3 and 4--Today in class we continued our reptile projects. Your paragraphs and illustrations look awesome! There is no homework.
Homeroom Reminders--In your communication folders on Friday, you received your I'm a Reader! challenge papers. You are encouraged to read the newspaper or your library book for at least 10 minutes every night this week and return the I'm a Reader! form on Monday, March 14. Refer to your grade sheet for more specific details. Continue to study your plant graphic organizer, your plant study guide, your flower study guide (especially the highlighted items), and your flower diagram (especially the highlighted items). We stapled all of these items into a packet. We will have our test tomorrow.

Homeroom Reminders--Tomorrow we will be going to the Pottsville Middle School for a music program. We will be leaving school at 9:00 after homeroom and returning to school at approximately 12:00 noon. We will be going on our field trip to the Philadelphia Zoo on Thursday, May 12. Parents are welcome to be chaperones. Parents who want to chaperone must have their 3 clearances on file with the school--FBI, state police, and child abuse. You must also complete Act 126 training which may be done online. Finally, parents must have 3 PTO credits in order to chaperone. Tomorrow will be Day 4. However, we will not have our special due to our field trip.
