Math--Periods 1 and 2--Complete worksheets R 1-1 and R 1-2. Remember to answer the questions in the white space on the paper before selecting your multiple choice answers.
Science--Periods 3 and 4--Today in class, we observed two different types of mosses, ferns with spores, pine cones, and two different types of flowers. Everyone was very enthusiastic about today's activity! We have some great scientific artists in fifth grade! Continue to study your plant graphic organizer, your plant study guide, your flower study guide (especially the highlighted items), and your flower diagram (especially the highlighted items). At the earliest, our test will be next Wednesday.
Homeroom Reminders--If you have not returned your signed permission slip for our jazz music field trip, return it to school with a parent's signature ASAP. Tomorrow will be Day 10--Phys. Ed. class.

Math--Periods 1 and 2--Complete worksheet Day 73. Complete workbook page P 9-10. For 1 to 3 draw your diagram and write your equation in the space provided in the workbook. (Refer to workbook page R 9-10 for examples.) Do the math problems for 1 to 3 on the lined paper you received in class. Also complete numbers 4 and 5. Do these right in the workbook.
Science--Periods 3 and 4--If you received your invertebrate test back today, get it signed and return it to school tomorrow. We will have a test on plants on Friday. Start to study your plant study guide and graphic organizer.

Homeroom Reminders--Spartan communication folders were sent home today. Students received an important health letter from the nurse, our class picture, and field trip information. Field trip permission slips are due next Friday. When we return to school on Monday, it will be Day 6--Music class.
