Science--Periods 3 and 4--Practice your element flashcards for Thursday's quiz. Today we started our saturated solutions lab.
Homeroom Reminders--NSE is collecting items for Tropical Storm Sandy victims in New York. We will be collecting items all week. Students were given a list of items that are needed. There is also a list on the main North Schuylkill page. Thank you, PTO, for sponsoring the COOL laser light assembly this morning! Tomorrow is Day 1--Phys. Ed.

Math--Period 2--Complete 13 to 18 of your subtraction equation worksheet. Follow the examples on the back of the worksheet and show all of your steps. Complete the graph reading worksheet. Complete Lesson 18.
Reminders for Both Math Classes--If you are struggling with your multiplication facts, use some the of the web pages on my blog to practice your facts. The faster your recall of your basic facts--the faster you will finish your work. Also if you have any paper work to return to Mrs. Liem, it must be handed in ASAP.

Math--Period 1--Complete numbers 26 to 30 of your subtraction equation worksheet. Follow the examples on the back of the worksheet and show all of your work on lined paper. Correct and finish Lesson 14.
Math--Period 2--Finish Lesson 16. Get your tests signed if you didn't already do so.
Science--Periods 3 and 4- Get your test and grade sheet signed if you didn't already do so. We continued our Element project discussions today. We have a few to finish tomorrow.
Homeroom Reminders--Report cards were distributed today. Please sign the bottom portion of the report card and return it to school. Also, please let us know if you would like to have a conference or a phone call, we would be very happy to meet or speak with you. Our October homework mixer is tomorrow. You may bring in a snack, drink, and game for our extended activity period. Tomorrow is Day 3--Computers.

Remember next Friday (November 9) is an Act 80 inservice day for teachers. There is no school for students. If you would like a conference with any of your child's teachers, please contact the teacher at school. We would be very happy to meet with you to discuss your child's progress.
