Period 1--Continue to think about and look for project ideas. Get your project directions packet signed so your parents know about your upcoming project. Your project proposal on notebook page 45 is due next Thursday. Your completed project is due on or before March 18.
Period 2--Get your Metals paper and Elements quiz signed. Test tomorrow. Study your Investigation 4 study guide. If we do not have school, we will have the test on the day we return.
Period 3--Test Friday. Start to study your Final Mixtures and Solutions study guide. If we do not have school on Wednesday and Thursday, the test will be next week. (This test will be next Thursday.)
Period 4
--Get your "What is Matter Made Of?" worksheet signed. Study your flashcards. Do 1 to 9 of your Metals worksheet.
Period 5--Get your "What is Matter Made Of?" worksheet signed. Study your flashcards. Finish the Periodic Table worksheet.
Period 6--Complete the Washington state map activity. Your Grand Canyon postcard is due tomorrow.
Homeroom Reminders--In the event of a snow day tomorrow, Day 4 will be Thursday and Day 5 (Phys. Ed.) will be on Friday. Communication envelopes were sent home today. Yearbook order forms, a survey from guidance, a class picture, PTO newsletter, and other items were in the envelope. Please return the envelope to school. Bring your Valentines to school on Friday.

Period 2--Get your "Metals" paper signed. Continue your Investigation 4 study guide. Do the 2 lab questions and the matching of vocabulary terms.
Period 3--Get your "Metals" paper signed if you didn't already do so. We took our test today on Investigation 4. Study so you can take it when you return.
Period 4--Get your "What is Matter Made Of" worksheet signed. Correct your "Ask a Chemist" worksheet. Do 1 to 7 of the "Periodic Table" worksheet.
Period 5--Finish your "Ask a Chemist" worksheet.
Period 6--Finish the Grand Canyon paper. Finish the Canada map activity. Your Grand Canyon picture and notes are due tomorrow. Grand Canyon postcard is due on Tuesday.

Period 6--Finish your maps in your notebooks on pages 1 and 2. If you finished your map on pages 1 and 2, get your grade sheet signed. Finish the Latitude and Longitude paper--including the Challenge question. Read pp. 9 and 10 of your Landforms book and do 1 to 11 of the Grand Canyon paper.
