Periods 2, 3, and 4--Get test signed. Work on your Mixtures and Solutions project.
Social Studies
Period 1--Get test signed. For class tomorrow, you need to know your person for your Biopoem--John Rolfe, John Smith, or Pocahontas.
Periods 2, 3, and 4--Get Southern Colony paper signed. Review for your test if you are not finished.
Homeroom Announcement--Congratulations, Room 219! You put forth great effort into your PSSA writing test today! We will continue testing tomorrow morning and finish on Friday. Basketball worksheet is due tomorrow for Mrs. Smith's phys. ed. class.

Periods 2, 3, and 4--Your final project for Mixtures and Solutions is due on Friday, February 20. Today students received their grade sheets for the project.
Social Studies
Period 1--No homework.
Periods 2, 3, and 4--Test tomorrow on the 13 Colonies. Study your outlines on the New England, Middle, and Southern Colonies. You will also need to be able to label a blank map with the names of the 13 colonies. Also study your flashcards on vocab., people, and places.
PSSA Writing Assessment continues tomorrow. Have a great night!

Periods 2, 3, and 4--Continue working on your final Mixtures and Solutions project.
Social Studies
Period 1--No homework.
Periods 2, 3, and 4--Test Wednesday. Study stapled packet including the map and flashcards. Finish workbook page 46 and the Southern Colonies worksheet. Get Middle Colonies paper signed.

Periods 2, 3, and 4--No homework. Work on your Mixtures and Solutions final project.
Social Studies
Period 1--No homework.
Periods 2, 3, and 4--Finish your Middle colony study guide. This will be graded. We are planning a test next Wednesday. We organized the papers to study today. They are in your child's Social Studies folder.
Looking Ahead to Next Week--Next Tuesday through Friday we will be administering the PSSA Writing tests. Please be sure your child goes to bed at a reasonable time and eats breakfast. Attending school next week is very important! Our Valentine's Day party is next Friday. A list of student names from our homeroom will be sent home in your child's communication envelope tomorrow. There are still a few students who have not brought in party money. Please send it in to school ASAP.
