Homeroom Reminders--Midterm progress reports were sent home in Spartan communication folders on Friday.  Please review them with your fifth grader.  Tomorrow is Team Tuesday.  Students may wear team shirts/jerseys.  Minimal face paint is permitted.  Entire faces may not be painted.  * Please see last Thursday's homework blog for Spirit Week details.*  Tomorrow is also Day 2--Music class.

Homeroom Reminders--Thank you, PTO and chaperones!  We had a GREAT day at the Philadelphia Zoo yesterday!  Congratulations, fifth grade, for making it a fun field trip!  Tomorrow will be Day 8--Phys. Ed. class.
Next week is Homecoming Spirit Week.  The schedule for the week is as follows:
Monday--Colors of the Rainbow Day--Fifth grade's color is purple.
Tuesday--Team Tuesday--Pick your favorite high school, college, or professional team and dress like a super fan!  Please keep face paint to a minimal.  No wigs are permitted.
Wednesday--Western Wednesday--Find your best western duds and wear them to school!
Thursday--Throwback Thursday--Pick an outfit that's a blast from the past!
Friday--American Pride/Spartan Spirit Friday--Wear Spartan clothing and/or red, white, and blue!
*You are permitted to wear jeans everyday if you are participating!

Homeroom Reminders--Students received their free NSE t-shirts from PTO today.  Thank you, PTO!  Please wear them for our field trip to the Zoo tomorrow.  Please report to the NSE cafeteria at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow.  Remember to bring a lunch if you did not order one from the cafeteria.  Also bring a drink and snack for the ride home from the Zoo.  Students received Spirit Week information today.  On Thursday, it will be Day 7--Computer class.
