Welcome Back to School!
Math--Periods 1, 2, and 3--We are getting into our daily routine in Math. Today, we started all of our classes with review practice sheets. We then continued our work with place value. This year students will be writing and reading numbers up to the hundred billions place. We completed a place value chart in class today. Students should start to study this chart tonight. We will have a quiz on this chart next week. Please have books covered by next Tuesday.
Homeroom Reminders--Tomorrow is a dress down day! Students may make a donation to benefit the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Tomorrow is also Day 5--Library class.

Welcome Back to School!
Math--Periods 1, 2, and 3--In all of our Math classes today, we took the beginning of the year DIBELs Math assessment. We will take this Math assessment again in the middle of the year and at the end of the year. It measures computation and problem solving skills. It was GREAT to see our students taking DIBELs seriously! We also worked on daily review sheets and started work with place value. Please have your book covered by next Tuesday.
Homeroom Reminders--Thank you to all of the students who returned the beginning of the year forms. Parents, thank you for completing them! Today a few students brought their red Spartan folders home with forms to complete. Thank you in advance for completing them. Also thank you for all of the tissue donations! Tomorrow will be Day 4--Phys. Ed. class.
Day 3 was awesome!

Homeroom Reminders--Thank you to all of the students who returned the beginning of the year forms. Parents, thank you for completing them! If you haven't returned your beginning of the year forms yet, please return them ASAP. Students who expressed an interest in participating in band and/or chorus have information stapled in their assignment tablets today. Tomorrow will be Day 3--Music class.
