All fifth grade classes took the PSSA Modified Reading Assessment this morning and this afternoon. This is a one day test.
Class Reminders
Period 1--Your postcard project is due tomorrow. Be sure to follow the directions in order to earn full credit. A test is scheduled for Friday. Study your stapled packet which is labeled "Study." This is in your Science folder.
Period 2--Study your Shapes of Earth study guide and your Building Mountains notes for your test on Friday. Many of your Shapes of Earth projects were very interesting...and well done! Congratulations!
Period 3--Your National Parks paper is due tomorrow. This will be a graded assignment.
Periods 4 and 5--Start to study your Rivers and Controlling the Flow paper. We are planning a test for Friday. We will go over notes in class tomorrow that will be included on the test.
Period 6--No homework. Your brochures were awesome! You included some very creative ideas!
Homeroom Reminders--Return communication envelopes ASAP. There was a paper in your envelopes for a bicycle rodeo to be held during Carnival Day. It must be signed and returned in order for your child to participate. Phys. Ed. will be tomorrow--Day 5.

Period 3--Test tomorrow. Study your Shapes of Earth study guide and your Building Mountains notes. The National Parks paper is due on Tuesday.
Periods 4 and 5--Start to study the circled items on the Rivers and Controlling the Flow study guide. Read "Wave Action" on pages 25 and 26. Do number 12 of the Shapes of Earth worksheet. Write your answer in complete sentences.
Period 6--Your brochure project is due tomorrow. Be sure to follow the directions and use your grade sheet as a checklist in order to earn full credit.
