Looking Ahead to Next Week--In Social Studies, we will be concentrating on the presidential election tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday, and part of the class on Wednesday. In Science, we will continue our study of concentrations on Thursday as we do the extension experiments for Investigation Three.

Looking Ahead to Next Week
In Science we will be having a test in periods 2, 3, and 4 on Investigation Two. We will then move into Investigation 3--Concentrations of Solutions. Period 1 will be completing the extension lab activities for Investigation Two and doing a study guide. In Social Studies period 1 will be having a test towards the end of the week on Christopher Columbus. In periods 2, 3, and 4 we will be moving into the search for the Northwest Passage and the colonization of North America.

Science
Periods 1, 2, 3, and 4--No homework. In class today period 1 finished the citric acid lab. We created saturated solutions, filtered the undissolved solute, and calculated the mass of the citric acid in the solution. Periods 2, 3, and 4 worked on the final experiment on saturated solutions. Each group was given a mystery substance to identify based upon how it forms a saturated solution.

Social Studies
Period 1--Review flashcards.
Periods 2, 3, and 4--Finish stations. They are due tomorrow.
