Math--Period 1--Complete workbook page 5.  Study your place value chart and decimal folder.
Math--Period 2--Complete worksheet 10/7 on converting from expanded form to standard form.  Complete textbook page 20.  Do this work in your notebook.  Study your decimal folder.
Math--Period 3--Complete textbook page 20 and workbook page 8.  Do the work for both of these pages in your notebook.  Study your decimal folder.

Homeroom Reminders--Tomorrow is our trip to Bloomsburg University for a music program.  We will leave school after homeroom at 9:00 a.m. and return for lunch at school.  Our homeroom will also shop at the book fair tomorrow during our special class in the afternoon.  On Wednesday, there will be picture retakes at NSE.  On Friday, there will be a dismissal at 12 noon for a teacher in-service.  Tomorrow will be Day 7--Computer class.

Math--Periods 1, 2, and 3--There is no homework.

Homeroom Reminders-- Spartan communication folders were sent home today.  On Monday, students may dress down if they wear a blue shirt as a reminder to not bully others.  October is National Bullying Prevention Month.  Picture retakes for NSE will be next Wednesday.  When we return to school on Monday, it will be Day 6--Music class.

Homeroom Reminders-- Tonight from 6 to 8 there will be PTO sponsored dance for grades 3 to 6 at NSE.  Admission is $3.00.  Tomorrow is American Pride/Spartan Pride Day!  Students may dress in red, white, and blue or in their Spartan gear!  * Please see last Thursday's homework blog for Spirit Week details.*  Tomorrow is also Art 5--Phys. Ed. class.

Homeroom Reminders--Thank you, PTO and chaperones!  We had a GREAT day at the Philadelphia Zoo yesterday!  Congratulations, fifth grade, for making it a fun field trip!  Tomorrow will be Day 8--Phys. Ed. class.
Next week is Homecoming Spirit Week.  The schedule for the week is as follows:
Monday--Colors of the Rainbow Day--Fifth grade's color is purple.
Tuesday--Team Tuesday--Pick your favorite high school, college, or professional team and dress like a super fan!  Please keep face paint to a minimal.  No wigs are permitted.
Wednesday--Western Wednesday--Find your best western duds and wear them to school!
Thursday--Throwback Thursday--Pick an outfit that's a blast from the past!
Friday--American Pride/Spartan Spirit Friday--Wear Spartan clothing and/or red, white, and blue!
*You are permitted to wear jeans everyday if you are participating!
