Our last day of school will be on Monday. Lunch will be served. There will be no breakfast. Dismissal is scheduled to begin at 11:45. If you have any textbooks at home, return them to school on Monday. Report cards will be distributed in school on Monday. Your child will also receive a letter listing the supplies needed for sixth grade. A copy of the updated dress code will be sent home as well. Parents, thank you for your support and interest this year. I have enjoyed working with our fifth graders in Science class. Have a fun and safe summer!

Week of June 1, 2010
All Science Classes--During Science classes this week, we will be wrapping up various hands-on activities. There is no written homework scheduled. Several students in all classes still must hand in signed tests or project grade sheets. Please check your child's Science folder for these items.
Reminders--We have an author visit program on Thursday afternoon. We are planning our end of the year party for Friday afternoon. Check Friday's blog for the cook's choices for lunch this week.

Periods 3 and 6--No homework.
Periods 4 and 5--Get your Shapes of Earth project sheet signed.
Homeroom Reminders--Communication envelopes were sent home today. Tuesday will be Day 1-Music. Cook's Choice lunch menu choices for next week will be as follows...

Soup Day--chili, chicken soup, or tomato soup with a cold ham and cheese sandwich
Alternate--hot ham and cheese sandwich or a chicken wrap
Thursday
Chicken Day--breaded and baked chicken, chicken nuggets, or popcorn chicken
Alternate--turkey and cheese hoagie or a chicken wrap
Friday
